Elyse Wright is an Engineer-in-Training at Aqueous Engineering.
Elyse is a Houston native, but good ole East Texas has won her over. While attending high school at Cypress Woods HS in Houston, Elyse was part of the volleyball program. Volleyball is what lead her to LeTourneau University in Longview, TX where she would continue her education and love for the game at a Christ-centered university. Elyse is in the volleyball record books at LeTourneau where she also served as captain. While in college, she was very involved in volunteering for Keep Longview Beautiful as well as the Boys and Girls Club. During her senior year, she worked part time for Komatsu Mining Corp. in Longview where she enhanced her skills in Structural Engineering. In 2018 she graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering.
While in her hometown, Elyse enjoys hanging out poolside with her parents, 4 dogs, and 2 brothers. She also has a passion for serving at her hometown church, Community of Faith.
During the sunny months, Elyse is either outside fishing, at a baseball game (Go ‘Stros!) or singing along to every song at a Cody Johnson or Chris Stapleton concert. Elyse has family from all across the globe, but the majority of her mom’s family resides in Iceland - which may or may not be the reason why she loves the winter season.
As a new addition to the Aqueous team, Elyse is ready to dive right in.
