Duncan Mayer is an Engineer-In-Training at Aqueous Engineering.
Duncan was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, growing up just outside of Tacoma, Washington. After finishing high school, completing two years at community college and getting married, Duncan and his wife Hope moved across country to Longview, Texas so that Duncan was able to study at LeTourneau University. He graduated in May of 2018 Summa Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. During his final year at LeTourneau, Duncan worked at CP&Y, Inc., in Longview, where he gained experience doing municipal water design.
Immediately following graduation, Duncan joined the team at Aqueous Engineering. Duncan followed in the footsteps of his father into the aquatic world, as his father owns his own pool cleaning company in Washington state.
In his free time, Duncan enjoys being around people, especially when it involves games of any sorts, whether it is board games such as Carcassonne or Lost Cities to pick up games of basketball or ultimate frisbee. He loves to be competitive and win, but most importantly, he wants to go and connect with others and have fun as his first priority.
Duncan love to be outdoors, especially around the lake during the summer time in the hot weather, going camping with friends, working on home improvement projects around the house, and going to watch any Seattle sports team play.
Duncan is married to Hope, his high school sweetheart, since 2015 and currently live in Kilgore. Duncan and Hope are active members of HighRidge Church in Longview where they serve and love on others. Duncan is the Technical Arts Director where he oversees the sound, lights and media.
