Maegan Schneider is a licensed engineer at Aqueous Engineering.

As the daughter of an Air Force Thunderbird pilot, Maegan grew up in Air Force bases all across our great country. She was born in Alaska and also lived in Nevada, Arizona and Oklahoma during her childhood. Her parents moved to Wichita Falls, Texas during Maegan's high school years where she graduated from Notre Dame Catholic School. Maegan graduated from Texas Tech with a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering in August of 2002. Following graduation, Maegan worked for USA Engineers in Dallas. While there, Maegan was responsible for the civil engineering design of a variety of residential projects located in the DFW metroplex.

In 2005, Maegan moved to the Tyler area and began work for Adams Engineering. While at Adams, Maegan expanded her knowledge in the engineering design field as she worked on a variety of challenging projects included substantial land planning and development, flood study analysis, and complex utility designs and installations. For her efforts there, Maegan was issued the prestigious award of "East Texas Young Engineer of the Year." Over her career Maegan has provided successful designs for several of the largest and most successful companies in the East Texas and Northeast Texas areas.

While in Tyler, Maegan decided to return to school to advance her knowledge in the engineering field. She attended the University of Texas at Tyler and in December of 2008 received a Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering with an environmental specialization.

Maegan has a servant's heart and graciously gives of her time. Some of her time in the recent past has been spent serving the University of Texas at Tyler as an adjunct professor, volunteering for Meals on Wheels of East Texas and Hospice of East Texas, and serving on the Board of Directors for Discovery Science Place (Tyler) and the Whitehouse ISD Education Foundation. She is currently on the Whitehouse ISD Board of Trustees.

Maegan is married to Paul, a civil engineer who works for TxDOT. They have two children and live just south of Tyler in city of Whitehouse. Maegan, Paul, and their family are active members of Dayspring United Methodist Church where she serves and volunteers.
